Dr. Claire Shannon on innovative surgery
Arrelle Middleton, from Los Osos High School in Rancho Cucamonga, is competing in the Paralympics in Paris. Middleton was born with a rare birth defect that required numerous surgeries at the Paley Orthopedic and Spine Institute that eventually allowed her to compete. FOX 11 was joined by Dr. Claire Shannon, who was part of the team performing the innovative surgery.
