'Pursuit of Equality' goes on 20th anniversary tour
This month marks 20 years since then-Mayor Gavin Newsom defied state law and started issuing same-sex marriage licenses. That move and the fight for gay marriage nationally became the subject of a 2005 documentary called "The Pursuit of Equality." The film's director Geoff Callan and his wife Hilary Newsom, the governor's sister, joined FOX 11 to talk about the 20th anniversary tour and the impact of the film.
