Films capturing the Latinx experience in America get the spotlight at the 13th Annual DTLA Film Festival
Unique stories told from a Latin perspective play an important part in this year's DTLA Film Festival...which kicks off Wednesday night. In recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month, one of those movies, 'Carlos Through the Tall Grass' opens the festival'. Another called 'The Rest of Us' follows the lives of five undocumented students over seven years. It closes the festival. The festival?s director of programming Karolyne Sosa talked more about it.
