Pay Equity For Hollywood Designers

Gender pay inequity can take many forms. the most basic, and to some degree the easiest to rectify, is when men and women do exactly the same job, and earn different wages. But that is not where it ends. In Hollywood for example, there is a battle being waged by the Costume Designers Guild. Its members are overwhelmingly women, and they say they make less money than other male dominated departments. Oscar Nominated Costume Designer Arianne Phillips joined us on Good Day LA to talk about the issue.
