Farewell gathering to honor the Consul General of Armenia in Los Angeles

A gathering in Glendale at the Armenian Society of Los Angeles took place on Feb. 25 to say thank you and bid farewell to H.E. Ambassador Armen Baibourtian, the Consul General of Armenia in Los Angeles. The Ambassador has lived and worked all over the world, he said his fondest memories are of the years he spent in New Delhi, Sydney, Brussels and Vienna, but Los Angeles without a doubt holds a very special place in his heart for its rich, diverse culture. Ambassador Baibourtian plans to take a one-year diplomatic sabbatical in Los Angeles, while he continues to teach and see what other opportunities come up in diplomatic service.
