Sheriff's deputy shoots and wounds man in South Whittier

A Sheriff's deputy shot a man in South Whittier Wednesday morning. Deputies say the man pulled out a handgun as they were trying to arrest him. That man has been taken to the hospital. The shooting is under investigation.
