Woman found dead inside burning vehicle in La Habra Heights
Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department were called to the area of North Cypress Street and Nabal Road around 10:10 a.m. According to LASD, deputies and La Habra Heights Fire Department found a burning vehicle on scene.
LA HABRA HEIGHTS, Calif. - Police on Wednesday identified the woman who was found dead inside a burning vehicle in a La Habra Heights neighborhood earlier this week.
Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department were called to the area of North Cypress Street and Nabal Road around 10:10 a.m. on Monday. According to LASD, deputies and the La Habra Heights Fire Department found a burning vehicle at the scene.
After knocking down the flames, a woman was found inside the fire and was pronounced dead at the scene.
She was identified by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office as 24-year-old Estrella Luna of Victorville.
No arrests have been announced in the investigation.
