San Bernardino detectives arrest father for murder of 3-month-old daughter

A father in San Bernardino County has been arrested, accused of murdering his 3-month-old daughter. 

According to the sheriff’s office the 3-month-old girl was admitted into an emergency room at Colorado River Medical Center in Needles. Officials say the victim was not breathing and was quickly airlifted to Sunrise Children’s Hospital in Las Vegas. 

The toddler passed away the following day on November 8th. Medical staff in Las Vegas determined her injuries were most likely caused by abuse. 

A homicide investigation was initiated and during the investigation detectives with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office arrested the girl’s father, 28-year-old Stefan Jackson, for murder. 

Jackson is currently in custody at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto and is being held without bail. He is due in court on November 12.
