Police investigating after two bodies discovered following welfare check in Whittier

WHITTIER, Calif. - Police in Whittier Tuesday were investigating the discovery of two bodies inside a motorhome trailer.

Officers responded to a welfare check late Monday night in the 7000 block of Elmer Drive.

The bodies of a man and woman were found inside the vehicle, authorities said. Their identities have not been released.

Police were interviewing family members but said it's too early to determine the cause of death.

Investigators said there were no immediate signs of foul play, but a crime scene was established around the entire block.
