Pursuit of burglary suspects ends in crash

The high-speed pursuit of multiple burglary suspects ended in a crash in South LA.

One of two burglary suspects was arrested after leading officers on a police chase that ended in a South Los Angeles neighborhood Tuesday morning, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

What we know:

The police chase involving suspects possibly involved in a burglary originated in Ladera Heights around 10:45 a.m., according to authorities. 

By 11:15 a.m., the vehicle was seen speeding on surface streets in South Los Angeles, at times reaching triple digits.

Just a few minutes later, the Tesla crashed into a parked car near 98th and Main streets.

The suspects ditched the vehicle and ran away. One of them was taken into custody, while the other was last seen running up driveways and across yards in the neighborhood.

Pursuit of burglary suspects in a Tesla

The LAPD was in pursuit of multiple burglary suspects late Tuesday morning.

As of 1:30 p.m., the suspect is still on the run.
