Domestic violence suspect shot by deputy in Cudahy

CUDAHY, Calif. — An investigation is underway in a Cudahy neighborhood after a Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy shot and wounded a domestic violence suspect early Monday morning.
What we know:
Deputies responded to a domestic dispute in the 4900 block of Live Oak Street, near Florence and Wilcox avenues, around 4:20 a.m.
Shortly after arriving, deputies encountered a female suspect at the scene, and a deputy-involved shooting occurred.
The woman was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. No deputies were injured during the response.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting have not been released and the name of the suspect is not available.
