TAMPA, Fla. (FOX 13) - Hope you're hungry: IHOP will be giving away free pancakes on Tuesday for National Pancake Day.
Flapjack lovers will be able to get a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes on March 12 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at participating IHOP restaurants.
There is a (good) catch: instead of paying for the pancakes, IHOP is asking customers to "flip it forward" by donating to help children battling critical illnesses.
The restaurant chain says donations will benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
