Devore Fire that sparked along Cajon Pass now fully contained

A wildfire that sparked along the Cajon Pass in Devore has been fully contained, fire officials announced Friday

The Devore Fire, which sparked Tuesday afternoon, burned about 14 acres.  

Previously officials with San Bernardino National Forest said 40 acres had burned but that number was reduced when they updated their mapping area.

The fire threatened structures in the areas of  Devore Heights, Hall Ranch and Matthew Ranch.

The 4, 5 and 6 lanes of Interstate 15 were blocked north of Kenwood Ave. while crews battled the fire.

Caltrans reported on Tuesday evening that the number 4 lane has reopened.
