Cornell fraternity gang rape case reopened

According to court documents, the alleged victim ("Jane Doe") claims the suspects involved were given the the opportunity to "mitigate their conduct by submitting essays to Cornell." Cornell University issued a statement denying the claims the suspects were given the option to write an essay.
