Long Beach braces for high surf, big waves

Hurricane Polo is expected to bring dangerous surf, coastal flooding and strong rip currents to the Long Beach Peninsula. The National Weather Service issued High Surf and Coastal Flood advisories for Los Angeles County beaches.
