New LAPD patrol cars equipped with new tech

The black-and-white patrol vehicles will feature the Federal Signal Rumbler low-frequency warning system, which works with the department's existing siren system to emit low-frequency sound waves that can be heard and felt by motorists and pedestrians, according to the LAPD.
