LA City Council approves funds to hire consultant to tackle homelessness

The City Council voted unanimously (14-0) to approve a motion by President Marqueece Harris-Dawson, directing the city administrative officer to hire expert consultants to help design a new homelessness agency structure and implementation plan, with results to be reported to the council and Mayor Karen Bass.
