Motel manager arrested in human trafficking sting

Federal and local authorities unsealed a 65-count gang RICO indictment under "Operation Broken Blade," the first-ever human trafficking gang RICO case brought in the Central District of California. The multi-agency sweep targeted a vicious sex trafficking pipeline along a 3.5-mile stretch of South Los Angeles's Figueroa Corridor, resulting in the arrests of a motel manager and nine other individuals.
