Man pleads guilty to LA homelessness fraud

Alexander Soofer, 42, of Westwood, is scheduled to be sentenced on April 7 for his guilty plea to wire fraud. The charge could carry up to 20 years in prison. The plea agreement calls for him to forfeit all of his ill- gotten money and belongings.
