During this Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we can't ignore the atrocities Japanese Americans endured during WWII right here in America. The incarceration of more than 120,0000 Americans of Japanese descent, rounded up with little notice, forced to leave their livelihoods behind, only allowed to take one suitcase of belongings into an internment camp.
