FBI raids home of LAUSD Sup. Carvalho

Carvalho has been superintendence of the nation's second-largest school district since February 2022. Before coming to Los Angeles, Carvalho oversaw Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Florida’s largest school district, from 2008 to 2021, when he was credited with improving graduation rates and academic performance.
