Lindsay Clancy jurors fail to reach verdict for 4th day

The jury in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial ended its fourth day of deliberations on Tuesday without reaching a verdict. After briefly returning to the courtroom just after 12:30 p.m. PT, jurors requested to be excused for the evening, and Judge William Sullivan granted the request. Hours prior to being excused, the jury had sent a note to Judge Sullivan stating that they were deadlocked and unable to arrive at a unanimous decision. In response, Judge Sullivan instructed the panel to continue their discussions and attempt to reach a consensus. The jury returns to court on Wednesday.
