Valentine's Day Crepes with Chef Ronnie Woo

Celebrity Chef Ronnie Woo shows us how to create the perfect crepe for a Valentine's Day. For More go to Ronnie Woo Recipe for Crepes in a Jar (Makes 8 crepes) INGREDIENTS: 1¼ cups milk ¾ cup flour 3 tablespoons granulated sugar 1 large egg 1 tablespoon oil TOPPING IDEAS: Powdered sugar, for dusting Fresh fruit (berries, oranges, etc.) Whipped cream Jam Peanut butter Hazelnut spread MAKE THE BATTER: In a large jar with a lid, add all ingredients and screw lid on tightly. Violently shake the jar until the ingredients are thoroughly combined. Some small lumps are okay. COOK THE CREPES: In a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat, add a scant ¼ cup of batter and swirl it around the pan. Cook until some bubbles form on top and the bottom is golden brown, about 1-2 minutes on each side. FILL THE CREPES: Spread a thin layer of peanut butter or hazelnut spread (or whatever you want) on the freckled side of the crepe and fold into quarters.
