LAPD Partners With Didi Hirsch Mental Crisis Centers For Non-Violent 911 Calls

LAPD officers respond to thousands of mental health calls every year. Now, LA is close to finalizing a deal for a program which would divert certain non-violent 9-1-1 calls to therapists from one of the cities top mental health facilities, the Didi Hirsch mental crisis centers.
