George Gascon takes early lead in the race for LA County DA

Challenger George Gascon has an early lead in the race for Los Angeles County district attorney, with 54.51% of the vote over incumbent Jackie Lacey's 45.49%. The early results are based on more than 2.5 million vote-by-mail and early ballots counted.
