Man known as Patient Zero in Burbank hospital recovers from coronavirus, most fingers amputated
One California man had one of the earliest cases of coronavirus while on a ski trip to Italy. Gregg Garfield only had a 1 percent chance of surviving. He will undergo reconstructive surgery after most of his fingers were amputated during a two-month hospital stay during recovery.
