Cedars Sinai medical innovators discuss 'Cancer Aid' app
Innovation is the hallmark of modern medicine. New strategies, new techniques, new developments...all in the cause of better health. New discoveries come with a price tag. Not only is brain-power required...but also a cash infusion. ?Shark Tank? is how one group of doctors raised money for their app, called ?Cancer Aid.? They also turned to the ?Cedars Sinai Accelerator powered by Techstars? for additional funding. Some of those medical innovators joined us Friday. They've all participated in the Cedars Sinai program, and their demo day was held earlier this week. Omkar Kulkarni is the program director.
