DOJ requests data on undocumented inmates from California jails

Sheriff Robert Luna says LA County does not collect or hold citizenship data on inmates, following a DOJ request for lists of non-U.S. citizens in custody. Legal analyst Jessica Levinson says the federal government cannot compel local law enforcement to enforce immigration laws under the 10th Amendment.
