Union criticizes board's ruling on force case

The Los Angeles Police Protective League came out in opposition to a ruling from the LA Board of Police Commissioners saying that two officers violated the department's lethal force policy when they stopped Keenan Anderson in January 2023. Anderson died in police custody after he had been struck with a Taser multiple times, and the board found two officers had restricted his neck while restraining them. The officers can still appeal the board's decision.
