The 95th Academy Awards are coming up this weekend, and there’s a lot that goes into creating the worlds we see on the screen. The Production Design of a film can immerse you into the story and help define a character. The props in these films play a major role in doing just that. Who is Wonder Woman without her lasso of truth? The Scream films without the phone? And Star Wars fandom without the Lightsaber? Amanda Salas caught up with two Property Masters who share how their craft helps enhance these stories, and how the public can attend a free panel discussion (with free parking too) featuring Property Masters from films in the Best Picture category on Saturday at the Hollywood Heritage Museum.
