Studio City teenager creates nonprofit to help provide self-care kits to under-sheltered girls
Prudential Emerging Visionaries recognized 25 high school age leaders across the U.S. who help find solutions to pressing financial or social issues within their communities. One of the winners was a young girl from Studio City. 17-year-old Kali Joy Cooper created ?Girl Well?, which makes self-care accessible for teenage girls who are facing displacement, transition or homeliness.
