LOS ANGELES - School looks different this year and your living room could be your child's new classroom.
FOX 11's Vanessa Borge spoke to lifestyle expert, Anais Gruillon, to round up some items to help transform your home into the perfect environment for your child to learn.
Tip 1: Invest in a pair of blue-light blocking glasses
"My first tip is to invest in a pair of blue light blocking glasses. This will be super helpful for our little ones who will be staring at a screen for more hours than maybe what they are used to. One of the benefits of blue light blocking glasses, they will not strain their eyes as much. They keep their eyes hydrated and fall into a deeper sleep. I found these on Amazon and I attached the chain so that when they take them off they don't misplace them," said Gruillon.

Tip 2: Bins, bins, bins!
"Bins, bins, bins. That is the word that is going to save you for anything organizational. Anything organizational is the Container Store!" said Gruillon.
"I got these multiple purpose bins that I'm going to fill with crayons, paper, play-do, and everything they need. I also came across this beautiful cart for under $100. And it is already packed and ready to go."

Tip 3: Look for fun and encouraging stationary
"Pick up some cute stationery. One of my favorite brands is Yoobi. I love that they have super cute trendy pieces. They actually give this set to a child in need so whatever you purchase is also donated they have helped millions of children in need. They are affordable and trendy."

"Ban.do has cute encouraging pencils that I thought would be perfect for the new school year. They say great things like "Be kind to yourself, it doesn't have to be perfect."
I also love that they have these agendas for the new year of course with encouraging wording saying "A better me is coming." There's stickers and it will teach your child to be organized for this new school year."
