LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11) - There's an old-fashioned saying when it comes to sex and marriage that goes: "Why buy the cow - when you can get the milk for free?" Well, a new study by a sociologist concludes that there is so much "free milk" around - that it could kill the institution of marriage itself.
It concludes that a combination of dating sites like 'Tinder' and 'Porn On Demand' makes sex a commodity available at any time - killing a man's motivation for marriage.
The study also blames so-called "cheap sex" for turning young men into unemployed, unmotivated societal slugs.
The author argues that in the past, men had to be educated, get a good job, and look good in order to attract a partner.
The study concludes women are still the sexual gate-keepers...but men control the marriage market.
The author says with far more women than men wanting to get married, women end up "settling" and ending up in doomed or unsatisfying marriages.
