SANTA ANA, CA (FOX 11) - Tustin Police and the Orange County Sheriffs Department are actively searching for two girls that haven't been seen since Wednesday.
16-year-olds Tiana Gillett and Leann Nichols were last seen at Foothill High School in Santa Ana, where they attend school as juniors.
Their mothers tell FOX11 they ditched school on Wednesday, and haven't been seen since.
"I just want her to know that I love her, I miss her, she has two sisters that she hasn't met, they wanna meet her, so just come home safe," said Christina Gillett, Tinana's mom.
"For my daughter, I'm especially concerned because she does need to take daily medication and she's been without it for several days since Wednesday and it's going to greatly compromise her well being," said Kristi Nichols, Leann's mom.
The day after they disappeared, the girls appeared in a Snapchat video with an unknown man, who tells one of the girls he's excited to see her.
"Tianna jumped in the car and she video taped that Snapchat of the guy, the driver, and honestly he looks to me like he's older than 20 and I just think she's a Snapchat creeper," Gillett said.
The video caught the attention of Tustin PD as well.
"Our detective has attempted to follow up on this other individual who may be somehow involved, and we are following any and all leads," said Lt. Robert Wright. "It's important if the girls happen to see this to let them know they are not in trouble, that we just want them to return home to their families safe as soon as possible."
The moms told FOX11 the girls reached out via a burner phone on Thursday to tell them not to worry, but they haven't been heard from since.
Anyone with information is asked to call Tustin PD immediately.
