OXNARD, Calif. (FOX 11) - Oxnard police investigated a shooting on Wednesday that closed down some streets in the area.
At least one person was shot in the area of Ventura Road and Hill Street in the city of Oxnard, police said.
Oxnard police say both the northbound and southbound lanes of Ventura Road are closed just south of Wooley Road. Hill Street is closed near Ventura Road.
Drivers and pedestrians should avoid the area.
The condition of the victim is unknown. No arrests have been announced.
