New multi-million dollar aquatics center opens in El Segundo
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (FOX 11) - A brand new multi-million dollar aquatics center is open in El Segundo just in time for the summer swim season.
The El Segundo Wiseburn Aquatic center is the first of its kind Olympic style pool in the South Bay which could be used as a future training facility for the 2028 games.
From beginner swimmers to elite athletes, teams like Tower 26, a triathlon swim group, are utilizing this new facility from the pre dawn hours. It's open to the entire community with a kiddie pool, water aerobics area, to a 10-lane Olympic sized pool with stadium seating.
