CANYON COUNTRY (FOX 11 / CNS) - A man was stabbed to death Monday in Canyon Country, and a suspect was taken into custody, authorities said.

The crime was reported in the 27400 Block of Dewdrop Avenue about 5:45 a.m., the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reported.

The man died a short time later at a hospital, the sheriff's department reported. Information was not immediately available on his identity.

The name of the suspect was not immediately released.
