Man killed in Moreno Valley hit-and-run

A man was killed and another man was in critical condition following a hit-and-run in Moreno Valley.

One of two men who was struck during a hit-and-run in Moreno Valley died Friday morning and authorities sought the driver of a black Ford F-150 who they believe was behind the wheel. 

Deputies were called to the 24000 block of Alessandro Boulevard near the intersection of Mission Grove Parkway at 2:05 a.m. in response to a reported hit-and-run. 

Arriving deputies found two adult males suffering from injuries sustained in the collision. 

The two victims were rushed to a local hospital where one of the victims died hours later, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said. 

The second victim was listed in critical condition. 

Authorities sought a black Ford F-150 that fled the scene. 

The names of the victims were not immediately released.
