A trade of strikes continued Saturday as the U.S.-Israel war with Iran entered its third week. 

On Friday, President Donald Trump said the U.S. destroyed military sites on Kharg Island, an island vital to Iran’s oil network and warned that its oil infrastructure could be next if Iran continues to interfere with the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran threatens UAE port

4:10 p.m. ET: Iran on Saturday threatened for the first time to attack infrastructure of a neighboring country, urging people to evacuate three major ports in the United Arab Emirates that Tehran claimed were "legitimate targets" because the U.S. military used them for attacks.

US Embassy hit in Baghdad

8:45 a.m. ET: Iraqi officials said late Friday night that a helipad at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad was hit by a missile. 

The Associated Press is also reporting debris from an intercepted Iranian drone hit an oil facility in the United Arab Emirates.

Trump on Iran: 'A lot of big hits today'

President Donald Trump spoke to reporters at Joint Base Andrews ahead of departing to Florida for the weekend. Trump spoke on the Iran war, the Strait of Hormuz, SAVE America Act, cartels in Mexico, and more.

The islands off Iran have become the latest focus of the war after a U.S strike destroyed military sites Friday on Kharg Island, which is vital to Iran’s oil network.

Kharg Island is about 21 miles off Iran’s coast, and is the primary terminal through which nearly all of Iran’s oil exports pass, according to The Associated Press.
