Homeowner hospitalized after home invasion in Riverside
A man is in the hospital after being attacked during a home invasion in Riverside. Two other home invasions have occurred in the same neighborhood recently. Police are trying to determine if the crimes are connected.
RIVERSIDE, Calif. - An investigation is underway after a homeowner was shot during an attempted robbery in Riverside early Sunday.
According to police, officers responded to a home in the 18000 block of Moss Road just after 4:30 a.m.
Officials said three suspects broke into the home and shot the homeowner during the attempted robbery.
The victim's wife told FOX 11's Travis Rice her husband was shot multiple times and remains in critical condition.
No other information was immediately available.
The investigation is ongoing.
