SYLMAR, Calif. - A bear seen wandering through the streets in Sylmar was tranquilizer Monday morning by Fish and Wildlife personnel.
Wildlife officials and Los Angeles Police Department officers were tracking the bear Hubbard Street and Eldridge Avenue in the vicinity of Los Angeles Mission College in Sylmar.
Video from SkyFOX showed the bear running on sidewalks alongside homes, jumping fences and disappearing under trees before it was tranquilized.
The bear is expected to be relocated to a non-residential area.
