Four '90s rock band singers come together for Songs & Stories on GDLA + backstage interview
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11) - We had a great performance by four of the best '90s rock band singers Friday morning -- part of our Mercury Insurance Concert Series. The Songs & Stories tour consists of members Art Alexakis of Everclear along with his three friends: Chris Collingwood from Fountains of Wayne, Max Collins from Eve 6, and John Wozniak from Marcy Playground.

The Songs and Stories tour will deliver a one-of-a-kind opportunity for each of the artists to perform stripped-down versions of their band's hits, deep tracks, and new songs - along with the stories behind all of them.

On Good Day LA, Alexakis said, "I had the idea to do it a couple years ago, because I did a Songs & Stories things where I tell the stories behind my songs, and I thought it'd be way more compelling and interesting if you had four people from bands from the '90s that were all platinum-selling bands and singer-songwriters."
