Tommy Chong On Battling Rectal Cancer: 'I'm Using Cannabis Like Crazy Now'

(FOX 11) Tommy Chong has been diagnosed with cancer for the second time after previously battling prostate cancer.

The "Cheech & Chong" actor told Us Weekly last week that he's undergoing treatment for rectal cancer. Chong, 77, was previously diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2012 and credited the use of marijuana as a saving grace in his treatment.

"I'm using cannabis like crazy now, more so than ever before," the comedian told Us Weekly. "I'm in treatment now. I've been — just the case either way, either I get healed or I don't. But either way, I'm going to make sure I get a little edge off or put up."

Chong appeared on Good Day LA Monday morning. Tap here to watch his full interview on our YouTube channel.
