Second death in Ed Bucks West Hollywood home ruled accidental

The death of a man found in Democratic donor Ed Buck's home in West Hollywood has been ruled accidental, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said Monday.

Emergency crews found 55-year-old Timothy Dean unresponsive at the West Hollywood apartment located in the 1200 block of Lauren Avenue on Jan. 7, 2019 and later pronounced dead at the scene.

On Monday, the coroner's office found Dead died as a result of a methamphetamine overdose.

No further details were immediately known. The investigation is ongoing.

Dean is the second man to be found dead at Buck's apartment. The body of 26-year-old Gemmel Moore was found at the same location on July 27, 2017. The coroner's office ruled Moore's death an accidental meth overdose too.

Buck was present at the location when both deaths occurred, according to the sheriff's department.
