Man shot, killed in Malibu; No arrests made

LOS ANGELES COUNTY, Calif. - The investigation into a man's shooting death in Malibu late Wednesday night continues.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded to a call from the 800 block of Westlake Boulevard around 3 p.m. 

The victim - described as a man in his 20s to 30s - was found off the main roadway in an area that appears to only be accessible and used for 4-wheel drive vehicles, the LASD said.  The victim was located by a fellow rider on the trail, who then called police. The victim's vehicle was found at the top of the trail, unoccupied. 

No arrests have been made at this time, and no suspect information was released.
