Small helicopter crashes in Chino cow pasture

A helicopter crashes into an Inland Empire cow pasture, but the pilot was lucky as he walked away from the crash.

The cows were lucky too. The field was full of cows when the chopper crashed, but none of cows were hit.

The pilot - while unhurt…surely has a bruised ego. Seems this was his first solo helicopter flight.

Investigators say he had radioed the tower at Chino Airport to report equipment failure just five minutes into his first solo flight.

The FAA and the NTSB are investigating.
