WALNUT PARK, Calif. (FOX 11) - A deputy-involved shooting that occurred in Walnut Park late Thursday night is under investigation, the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department said.
Authorities say no deputies were injured in the shooting and it's unknown if the suspect was hit.
The shooting happened at about 10:30 p.m. in the area of Seville Avenue and Flower Street when deputies responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon.
Deputies were seen canvassing the neighborhood for evidence and interviewing possible witnesses.
No further details were immediately known.
