Police investigate sex assault at Beverly Hills mansion following Golden Globes

Los Angeles Police are investigating reports of a sexual assault from inside a Beverly Hills mansion.

Detectives said they responded to the home on Tower Road in the early morning hours after last Sunday's Golden Globe Awards.

Police was seen speaking to potential witnesses who are overheard telling detectives the accusations were false.

"I'm telling you nothing happened," one man said.

"They don't have any evidence to suggest anything," another man said. "It's all accusations."

Detectives said several people were home at the time of the alleged assault.

The commotion on the otherwise quiet cul-de-sac drew some famous neighbors including Jay Leno who drove up to find out what happened.

"Is the girl still there?" he asked.

Detectives told FOX 11 that the alleged victim went to the hospital for an examination.

A young music mogul currently rents the gated estate with round-the-clock security, according to neighbors.

Detectives would only say the suspect is believed to be someone staying at the home with ties to the rap industry, but they haven't released any names, saying the investigation is still ongoing.

No arrests have been made.
