Police find domestic violence suspect in dryer

OXNARD, Calif. (FOX 11) - Oxnard Police found a suspect hiding in an unlikely place-- a dryer.

Police say they responded to a call of domestic violence at a house on King Street in Oxnard on Friday.

When they arrived, the residents of the house told them the suspect had locked himself in the laundry room.

Once officers entered the room they at first thought the suspect, 30-year-old Ivan Lopez, had fled.

Upon closer inspection however they discovered Lopez inside the dryer.

Lopez was taken into custody without incident and arrested for felony domestic violence and resisting arrest.
