Overturned truck spills beer onto roadway in West Covina

WEST COVINA, Calif. (FOX 11) - A semi truck with a full load of Modelo beer overturned Thursday morning in West Covina, spilling its contents onto a 10 Freeway off-ramp and onto the street below.

The accident was reported around 7 a.m. on the westbound 10 Freeway at Grand Avenue. A truck carrying beer overturned off the ramp and landed near the intersection of East Garvey Street and North Fairway Lane.

CalTrans responded to clear up the scene. Video from SkyFOX showed beer spilled on the off-ramp and on East Garvey Street.

According to California Highway Patrol, the driver was out of the truck and walking around after the crash.
